Thanks, Stephanie, from Barefoot In The Kitchen ,for this recipe.
2 1/2 sticks of butter
1 1/4 DARK brown sugar
1 c granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Cream together.
Then add:
3 2/3 flour
2 T. corn starch
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
a bag of semi sweet chips
Mix together.
Put in freezer for an hour.
But don't forget to eat the dough before it freezes. That's the best part.
Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. Give or take.
Where have you been all my blog-reading life, Clover Lane?
ReplyDeleteI love your blog and I double-love your cooking blog.
What a nice respite from other blogs I follow. Don't get me wrong, I love the sunshine and roses attitudes of other bloggers, but sometimes a girl needs a dose of re.al.it.y. From a new mom (The Kid will be two in two weeks) to a...seasoned?...no....an experienced?...perhaps...a "been-there-done-that" mom, thank you. I'll be following...
Hi! I love your cooking blog! I stumbled upon it somehow, and I can't wait to try out some of your recipes! I have a cooking blog, also, but it is no where near as interesting as yours! I just started mine a few days ago. The address is www.joyadventurefulltummies.blogspot.com, if you are interested. Thanks for a lot of great-looking recipes, can't wait to try some of them out for my family!
ReplyDeleteHey there. Been awhile since I checked in but I'm sure God led me here today.
ReplyDeleteMy dad asked me for chocolate chip cookies for Christmas this year. That's it. I was at a loss until I decided to give him "The Great Chocolate Chip Cookie Experiment". A different recipe of cookies every month for the whole year. I was on the prowl for one for February and I can't wait to try this one.
Thanks!
Sarah, do you use salted or unsalted butter? Not sure if it really matters.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love your blog and I wish you the best with your labor, delivery, and baby!
