Best Banana Bread


3 soft ripe bananas, mushed up
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 salt
2 cups flour

Mix together.
Divide into 2 buttered loaf pans.
Bake at 375 for 40 minutes.

Cool and remove from pans.

  1. I tried this recipe this weekend. Terrible results. Pretty much the absolute worst banana bread I have ever eaten. I'm sorry to say, the best place for it was the trash.

  5. Thank you for this recipe! This is my and my family's favorite banana bread- I add chocolate chips, too. I love how buttery and rich it is- simple and soooooo good!
